Be a spider exterminator in this sim

Kill It With Fire 2 is an action-packed simulation from Casey Donnellan Games and tinyBuild, serving as the sequel to the original Kill It With Fire. This first-person shooter experience puts you in the shoes of an Exterminator, a professional tasked with taking out those pesky arachnids. In this sequel, however, you go beyond the confines of Earth into a multiverse with spiders of different colors, sizes, and abilities.

Improved graphics, more content, more varied set designs, and the signature brand of mayhem all make Kill It With Fire 2 a fun experience. It’s like DOOM meets Content Warning.

Remove spiders across all timelines

Kill It With Fire 2 picks up where the first one has left off. From eliminating household spiders, you finally face off against giant spiders threatening humanity. In this sequel, you go through interdimensional portals to perform your extermination duties in different timelines and alternate worlds. The second title also comes with a variety of weapons, including new ways of torching and crushing them.

One engaging aspect of this game is its linear storyline, with a progression that’s easy to follow. You can play this solo or with up to four players in an online coop session. Conversely, you can also fight against friends in the PvP Spider Hunt mode, with a good selection of maps. Also, the humor in this game has stepped up, with pop culture references for eagle-eyed players to spot.

Still, the game could use improvements in a couple of aspects. For one, the material handling still feels janky, like the original. Picking up objects and putting them down, or throwing them, feels unnatural—although it could lead to funny encounters. Other than this minor, divisive point in the game, it’s utterly enjoyable alone or with friends, with no serious problems to worry about.

A stepped-up sequel

Kill It With Fire 2 offers an entertaining continuation of its predecessor's spider-squashing adventure. Transitioning from household spiders to giant arachnids threatening humanity, the game takes players through interdimensional portals across various timelines and alternate worlds. With a linear storyline and easy-to-follow progression, it accommodates both solo and multiplayer experiences. Despite some material handling issues, the game's humor, diverse weaponry, and engaging gameplay make it a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

  • Pros

    • Retains the original's humor
    • Campaign missions go extradimensional
    • Introduces new ways of crushing spiders
    • Supports multiplayer mode
  • Cons

    • Janky material handling mechanics
 0/5

Warning

This software program is potentially malicious or may contain unwanted bundled software.

Why is the software program still available?

Based on our scan system, we have determined that these flags are possibly false positives.

What is a false positive?

It means a benign program is wrongfully flagged as malicious due to an overly broad detection signature or algorithm used in an antivirus program.
